Someone at the table puts the order together on their phone and sends it on WhatsApp, with the table number written in, without waiting for the waiter.
- The customer opens the site, picks the items and sizes, and the total adds up by itself.
- In Notes they write whatever is needed, like “Table 5”.
- The order arrives ready on your WhatsApp, and you confirm in the conversation.
- Paying is the way you already do it. If you like, the customer pays by Pix straight to your account: see Online ordering on WhatsApp, with Pix straight to your account.
What this is not: there is no fixed table number and no kitchen screen. The site only puts the order together and opens WhatsApp, and the conversation stays with you.
To get the customer to the site from the table, put the site's address, or a QR code of it, on a small card. Any free QR generator does that. Only want reservations? See Booking a table on WhatsApp, which is part of the site at no extra cost.
You can put together a test order at the example bakery, with the Place an order button: nothing is sent until you tap WhatsApp.
